Growing up in a Marwari household, conversations about fabric and clothes were as common as asking “aaj khane mein kya hai?” Textiles weren’t just a business; they were part of life. We’re three cousins who grew up surrounded by the hum of textile and while we’ve seen the industry evolve through generations, we want to take those roots and do something refreshingly different - create premium finished products with a story to tell.

As cousins, we were kind of forced to see each other regularly—thanks to that whole shared bloodline thing. But beyond the family obligations, it was our shared love for art, music, cinema and pop culture that actually made us click. You could say it turned the awkward “family gatherings” into the foundation of our own little cohort. Add to that a family steeped in textiles, Cohrt became the natural next step—where our collective passions could finally take shape (minus the side-eye at family dinners).


So that’s how Cohrt was born. It’s about turning that shared love into something you can wear, creating a collective identity for those who truly get it.
